BRTC Weather Cancellation Policy


BRTC follows Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) for weather cancellations.

  1. •If LCPS closes schools due to weather, BRTC cancels classes.

  2. •If LCPS closes schools due to weather but opens after-school activities, BRTC classes will remain canceled.

  3. •If LCPS closes campuses to evening activities due to weather, BRTC cancels classes.

  4. •If LCPS has a delayed start to school, BRTC does NOT cancel classes; classes are held as normal.

LCPS announces weather-related closings on the LCPS website and other public channels. BRTC will try to send a courtesy e-mail and text to dancers confirming cancellations.
